Flexduct will be much easier to install than the rigid pvc. If you do decide to go the pvc route I have seen it insulated in indoor/outdoor carpet glued onto the pvc and did not see any signs of condenstation at all, just make sure you silicon all seams. About the grills I can get you all sorts of sizes of grills, you should need a 4 x 8 for the galley and a 4" round for the v berth.
