How's Oahu Fishing?

Chevron is sending me to Oahu to review a project at the Hawaii refinery -- life's tough. I'm pretty familiar with Kona fishing but know nothing about Oahu. Is it worth a charter? Cost? Contacts? (I'd rather work directly with a captain than go thru a charter desk). My tentative fishing dates will be April 29th or 30th.
