CX - Wonder Mist

My tower VHF doesn't get used very often during the winter months. So, when I turned it on and it would not leave the scan mode no matter what I tried. I removed two screws and then removed the guts and gave them a liberal treatment of CX. Today I plugged the radio in and turned it on and it worked perfect.

I buy CX by the gallon and mix it 50/50 with lacquer thinner. I then use a neat device to spray the mixture called a Sure Shot Sprayer (Model A) made by Milwaukee Sprayer Mfg. Co. Here is their web site:
