Mikey, as I said, don't know all the issues, but if it works, it works, and I have a good mental pix of how it would set up. If you do it, make sure when you take the turbo off the back of the manifold you replace the manifold-to-turbo gasket with the new hi-tech one Cummins came out with a few years ago, and grind the mating surfaces with a soft wheel to clean them up. I had a weeping coolant leak in that joint a couple of years ago on my port engine, and my Cummins Mid-South super tech, Walter, changed out the gasket, used the soft grinding wheel to clean up the mating surfaces, and used the new hi tech gasket. He gave me an education on new gasket technology.
If you need the part # for the gasket, let me know, as he gave me a spare if (when) the stb starts weeping, and it's on the boat.
