I have a 17 Whaler Montauk that is a great boat, but she's tough on the knees in anything over a really light chop. I had a '91 Wellcraft V-20 cuddy (another Hunt hull) with a 150 hp Yamaha that was a great boat w/OK build quality. Wellcraft also made the V-20 as a center console. Grady's are nice boats, but if you're looking used, especially 80s, be sure to check out the transom--they're prone to water intrusion/rot. Good luck.
