Guys,
Lookin for some opinions. Father-in-law is lifelong land-lubber of central Pa. Now looking to buy a boat 17-20ft range for bay/VERY inshore fishing, and overall use. He asked me for opinions, let me know if I left any out. It's been a while for me too, but whalers, older makos, Aquasports, and grady whites were the ones to stick with. We always had Mako's 21,23,25 before our 31B, and they were Great boats, at least in the early-mid 80's. He's looking for something under 10g's. Gonna be a stretch I know, but they are out there. He's sent me links for (GASP) Bayliners and Chaparell's...what that hell is that! Told him, Navy wouldn't use them for target practice...but they are cheap. He don't understand, pay a little more now, those older boats WILL hold some value.Anywy, am I leaving any out? By the way, outboard power is a MUST!
Let's hear it!
Thanks,
Greg
