Rudder shelf help; Capt Patrick

Capt Patrick, I'm replacing the rudder shelves in my B35 and purchesed the 24oz roving cloth for the layer between my ply.

However for encapsulation, I got 6oz cloth for encapsulation. Is this ok or should I go get biaxle instead? ( I'm a novice to glas and didn't know the difference in BoatUseless)
