Hello Andre,

Interesting. I've never heard that before. We're the only company in the world that makes Titanium Hose Clamps so they must be talking about ours. We recommend tightening to 40/in/lbs. and it could be that they were over tightened and the serrations were bending, but not stretching. We've tested many here, til they break, and not one "stretched".

As a point of information we use them here in the plant and they work fine.
