Fiberglass Question

My deck panels are made with iso resin, as well as the the lip around the perimiter, and the stringers. Now I am changing to West System to install the deck, and lay the Teak. Must I prepare the surfaces in any special way to accept the change to Epoxy ? Thanks in advance. Mitch
