The washdown pump on Triton II, which was mounted motor-up, still froze and had to be replaced.
It looked real bad when it came out and almost did a high arc into the dumpster. Then I thought...The Corrosion-X Challenge!!
Yeah, I took it home, took it apart, sprayed it liberally with CX and walked a way for about a week. Came back, scraped all the crud and rust out, wiped everything clean, reassembled and hot wired it to a battery.
You guessed it!
I now have a working spare on board.
