April Fools

Thought adding baby Jack to the story would make things more realistic. Infact I spent a good part of yesterday at the Jersey Cape factory trying to learn a trick or two. The way they do the headliner is pretty cool, plastic track stapled to the overhead stringers and then the 3mm vinyl type fabric (sprayed with distilled water) stretched and then put in the opposite track. Looks good when it's done but might not be the most practical thing on a 31 where there is so much room up over the headliner that can be used for storage.
The flooring was something I've never seen before. All plastic, durable plastic that actually looks like wood. It's really tough, can be washed with anything and will hold up to dropping rod butts on it too. The company is Amtico and they are a popular choice in the new boat arena lately. The site is amtico.com and they do send out free samples. It's a great choice rather than teak&holly sole.
The project is moving along well and I should have a few more pics coming soon.
As for the AC Rendezvous, hopefully it'll be done in time but it won't be for sale....hmm, well maybe for the right price.
