No Joe your not Wacky. We threw away the largest Cubara Snapper ever taken in this area(110 LBS) beacuse he wouldn't fit in the regular coolers. For extra big fish you need a place. I know now however to cut in two partially but still leave in whole condition to fit in the regular cooler. But your big fish box will work easier and also no hassles with a new Marine Patrol Officer about cutting a fish to make it fit. Show us how it works out. Dave K
