Heartbroken

Sold my house on Tampa bay last Novenber. Moved my B28 from my boatlift at the house to a marina in Indian rocks beach. I got a covered slip, but my boat now stays in the water year round. During the transition, I did have the bottom sanded, epoxy coated, and anti ablative paint put on. During our move, the boat did get neglected. I just spent 2 days cleaning her up, and im still dumbfounded at how fast a boat will deterioriate just sitting in the water for two months, with no care. I had to scrape 2 inches of barnacles off my plastic trim tab cylinders just in that length of time. roosting birds also had a field day Sh___ing all over her, all my stainless has learned how to rust, Had to trace a pot full of electrical connections out to get things to work again,(deck lights, flood lights, livewell pump etc, etc.) After clean up, I hosed everything down with corrosion X. I just hope that helps. Amazing how harsh the saltwater environment is.
