I have one of those thermo's, run it on 12v draws about 2-4 amps. cools down to about 40 degrees below th ambient temp. Great device. I've also seen conversion kits to convert your Ice Box to thermo. about the same power and spec's although I noticed these are a bit more pricy. I got mine at Wal-Mart for 79 buckaroos. I use the 120vac to 12vdc power supply that came with it to run a home based VHF.
