First of all, thanks for your detailed instructions.
I'm curious about this exerpt from Page 5-4 "Fuel/Water Seperator Element - Changing" of the Operations and Maintenance Manual:
"Controlled venting is provided at the injection pump trough the fuel drain manifold. Small amounts of air introduced by changing the filters or injection pump will be vented automatically if the fuel filter is changed in accordance with the instructions"
So this is apparantly what should happen. It sounds like I should fill the filters up as full as I can to minimize the "small amounts of air introduced". If I do air lock the engine, how soon will I know?
