Dan, I recently repaired mine and altho I able to use the originals, in the Hamilton Marine catalog I saw some SS half ovals-hollow back and flat back and some SS strakes (316 SS too) that would work, I think. Page 32 in their most recent small catalog that I just received. Would be better than aluminum but harder to shape.
