NMEA 0183 and devices

OK, once again I'm reading all books and can't find an answer between the lines.

I have the Furuno 1733C and want to use the NMEA output to feed data to my ICOM DCS (or DSC?) as well as my Flo-Scan for MPG data. How do I know how many devices the NMEA output can support? It's not in the Furuno documentation, but NMEA says I should be able to provide data for up to 8 devices? Should I terminate green and yellow wires from the radar NMEA output cable to a terminal block to feed the two devices?

Thanks Faithful!
