I think he meant the cutless replacement item. These things replace the cutless bearing with an assemble that allows the unit to attach directly to the shaft and another part gets attached, or pressed into the strut. Theory is the shaft can be worn out of tolerance for a cutless, and or it can prevent the wear in the first place.

Great idea, not overly expensive either, but don't travel too far without a spare as many places do not carry them and will need to be special ordered.
