That is cheap. The Koolatrons were probably $150 - $200 twenty five years ago. They even made a model that could be built in and looked like a regular small refrigerator for a boat or RV, but with only a tiny current draw.

Another thing I liked about the samll ones was keeping beer cold when traveling, and not having to stop and get ice, or dmp the water out of the cooler later (or mop it up out of the floorboards). Of course, that was back when it wasn't a federal offense to sip a cool one while driving.
