Thermoelectric coolers

While over at the camp this weekend one of the neighbors had a small portable cooler - probably holds a couple of six-packs - that runs off 12v or with an adapter, on 120v AC. Got the beer real cold. I don't have a frig on AJ, just use ice chests, but on a long trip, say the UVI for a week, it sure would be nice to keep the cold cuts, boudin rouge, etc, cold in a dry place. I did a web search and found some, like Koolatron and they are all pretty cheap, a 36 qt. for about 150. Anyone have any thoughts &/or experience on these type units?

Hey yankees, it was 85 and sunny yesterday, washed the Strataglass in shorts and sandals, and used the new stuff Strataglass has for polishing it up and it works good. Spray bottle is at the camp so don't ask me what it is, but the Strataglass site probably has it listed.

The LSU ladies' basketball team could beat most NBA teams. Like the coonass say, "dem girl can shoot".
