Doug: I had a friend who put them on his 32 Luhrs and it seemed to smooth the vibrations some. I bought some to put on my boat, but shaft clearance is an issue and the shafts should be shortened and remachined. A charter captain on the Eastern Shore told me that they saved his boat once when he was backing into a slip and wrapped a stray dockline up in both props. The shaft savers broke and saved hull and/or mechanical damage. They seem to be a quality product that includes a ground strap jumper to keep the shaft grounded to the gears. Rawleigh
