You know it is funny. I love snow. I have enjoyed snow on the ground since early november. It is better in my mind to have a nice white carpet outside than the drabness of midwinter grey and browns.

The last week or so has been in the mid to low forties, and it has been really nice. Much of the snow has melted from this winter, but I think we still have 6-8 inches between the bare spots, and the drifts and snow piles are still higher than the truck in some places.

I worked on the boat for the first time in months this past weekend and it felt good.

I am ready for spring, and though this snow will be gone in a day or so (It is supposed to be above freezing today...) it would be nice to see some fresh real flowers blooming here!

South does sound nice, for a quick getaway. Of course rowing season starts this Saturday, so I will be on the water whether it is nice or not! That is what matters!!!!
