I have a dock neighbor with the 4B's, they give a nice foot massage when standing on the deck, but that's not a big issue, the bigger one is he has had a number of things break off them, again due to the vibration (throttle bracket etc). He just cleared 1000 hours and lost a motor, something due to a cam gear giving out that sent metal through the engine.

Personally like someone else said, why not go with the 6B, real proven, or if size is your concern, the Yanmar is untouchable, we have them in launches up north and they run forever (and those kids beat on them)
