Seaboard/Versacel cockpit panels

Went to a plastics place today to look at versacel sample..thinking of usine 1/8" versacel with plastic laminate over. Saw sample of Seaboard which is 1/4" minimum. Is it smart to make to panels just out of the seaboard...the sample is not very flexible but they have a Seaboard lite that is less dense. Thought I remembered seeing a post about Seaboard/Straboard getting marked up. Thanks,
