Just what I wanted to hear. The only area that is suspicious is where the shaft goes through the bottom. I don't know maybe a badly vibrating shaft/shaft log might have destroyed that area a bit over time- but that can be easily fixed.
Hopefully Capt. Pat will advise. But thanks so much for the quick (and trustworthy) response.
