thank you for the quick reponse. i went to the boat today and did the expoxy first cote,incidently there was no trace of moisture and the trim has been removed a week ago.i tell you what dug says is right way to go but doing right the first time takes a tremedous amount of work.all the alluminum trim has been removed and glass in,anchor chocks,cleates,hawes pipe,rod holders,diesel fill,and bow rail fittings are all thru bolted-fish plated in 316 stainless.
