In Response To: bridge parting line (bob lico)

Bob,

The seam between the inner house liner and the house top is the area I'm pretty sure that your referring to...

First sand it fair and then clean out any debris from the gaps. Make sure that you don't have any water trying to drain out from plywood core inside the brow. If you do, you need to get it dried up.

Use an old style "church key" to widen the gap between the two parts, leaving a "V" shaped grove, (file the edges so the tool has a good sharp cutting edge). Prime the grove with a very thin layer of un-thickened epoxy and allow it to tack up. Then fill the grove with thickened epoxy, (cabosil & micro balloons to the consistency of peanut butter), allow to cure fully and re-sand to fair.

Best regards,

Patrick
