Yaah, the acid will do the trick. Most folks are scared of it, but used in moderation it will do wonders. Gets rust off anything in a few seconds, dissolves any sort of mineral deposits right now. My ice machine at the camp was acting up and I ran about a half gallon of acid thru it yesterday and it's making 10 times the ice this morning.

Sure, polish it up and put a black & red skirt on it.
