I used the solvent based stuff (Weldwood I think) to laminate new formica over the external bulkheads and the H2O based to relaminate the entire interior of my 35. No problems 3 years later. Don't know if putting the veneer on the outside bulkhead would have an effect on the solvent based stuff or not, I'd assume there'd be a fair amount of moisture being wicked thru the wood.
