In all the research I've done the main point is under loading a genset is the worst thing you can do. I was all set to get the biggest 3 cyl genset that would fit in there but every vendor advised against it for our needs. In the end we went with 12,000 btu ac, microwave, refrig and spreader lights and chose the NextGen 3.5kW unit.
