Laminating veneer to formica bulkheads

I'm getting ready laminate mahogany veneer to all my formica bulkheads on my B31. Anyone know the best adhesive? My North Bennett St. School friend say contact cement is not good for marine applications. Mastic doesn't work. Ideas????
