looking for the easy way

Is there a way to replace a bad cutlass bearing without the use of a press? My b31 is hanging on a cradle lift and I can get under her in a smaller boat. What I'm trying to avoid is, having her pulled at the local yard. Trying to save some cash also. I think that Charlie Haas might have posted on this subject a few years ago, but I can't remember.

Thanks again, John.
