Teak/Mahogany Trim

OK - The teak trim is all cut and fit. I used Cetol on the original mahogany trim before, and I plan on taking that off and doing all the teak and mahogany in Goldspar satin. I'll still use Cetol for exterior, but not for the interior anymore.
I did a test, and I like the matte finish of the Goldspar varnish, but the teak and mahogany are different colors. The teak is alot more brown, and the mahogany is alot more red. Its either experiement with stains on the teak, or just have different wood tones--maybe not a bad thing. Has anybody tried a mahogany stain on teak? Any recommendations?
