Bruce, you are the ultimate diplomat. Or on new medication. Speaking of diplomacy, I just saw on TV that somewhere between a half a million and a million folks in Lebanon - a country with a total population of 4 million, hit the streets today in a totally peaceful demostration to kick the Syrian thugs out of their country so they could go back to a democratic political system. Hmmmmmmmmmm......
Did the fact that our brave men and women, well led from the Pres. on down, kicked some butts in the Middle East recently have anything to do with that? I had the pleasure of eating crawfish with one of our heros on Sat. - Andre's son Marine Drew who had a personal hand in Sammam's fall.
The Iron Curtain could not withstand good ole fashioned democracy, and guess dictators everywhere should start looking over their shoulders. If you have any stock in Syrian or Iran companies, better sell it quick. On the other hand, our LA Governor, Kathleen Blanco, maybe not the sharpest pencil in the box, just returned from Cuba where she led a trade delegation of Coonasses to sell crawfish to Castro, or whatever, and had lunch with Fidel. Well I listen to Radio Havana on the shortwave a lot for laughs, the most outlandish radio station on the planet (6.000 Mhz) and they were touting our Gov. was eating lunch with Fidel. She is catching hell here for it, and in the context of Lebanon, she deserves it.
UV, the non politician, but not born last nite.
