This is going to require a little more planning, thought and work than I had anticipated. It may best be left to a pro.

What do you think of these aluminum brackets? The dimensions are right.

Here’s the seller’s description:

The mounting side is app 10" long with (2) 1/4" mounting holes, the main support arm is 21 3/4" long, and the secondary support angle is app 26" long. The entire support is 1 1/4" wide and ranges in thickness from 1/4" to 1/2".

Would aluminum be preferable to W. Marine’s SS brackets?
