The first thing I would do before you mount the platform is reinforce the transom. Then you can either buy the standard brackets or try to fabricate them yourself. Be careful of your measurements on the the angle of the transom, you want that puppy to be parallel with the water when you're at rest.
My main concern with the supports was not really the platforms ability to handle the weight of a few guys standing on it, I was more concerned with punching a hole in the back of the boat when the platform hits the dock.
