Chiles-

I don't know anything about SeaPro, but it sounds like it'll fit your needs. If you want a Whaler, be patient in your search. I have a 17 Montauk with a 90 Johnson on it, and its a great boat. I've found that the pricing on used whalers is crazier than anything I've seen...most seem waaaay overpriced, but if your patient, one will come along that's just right at a good price--you just have to buy it that day or it'll be gone. There's a website called "the continuous wave" that's a whaler site with a classified section. Good luck.
