It is a static flush. It is controlled by ball valves (Bronze)I don't trust the diode valves(automatic ball ones)The lift creates it's own set of problems. I have a 20,000 LB. lift. The anti-rats nest device for the cable is not available for the 20,000 lb one. So I have to be real careful and watch the tides as well. If I try to put her in in a real low winter tide the pickups will not be able to get enough water and will be in the mud as well.Every advantage has it's disadvantage. Since I've been very careful about start ups regading tides and hull position(making sure it's floating)I haven't experienced a failure. However it's only been 4 months and you know we don't use our boats down here much in the winter. Had no problems untill I put her on a lift but then again she wasn't in the water long enough for a good history. Me mum told me it wouldn't be easy!
