Capt Dave,
Are the engines running when you flush them or is this a static flush?

Reason I ask is sometimes on a static flush the blades can be bent back depending on where they are in compression.

Upon startup, especially out of the water where they can dry up, the blades pull and tear.

If the problem persists, I would try closing the thru hulls before you pull the boat up and see if it helps.

Also look to see if its possible any air is getting into the system from the flush.
