I made a top for my 28' moppie. We made it from 2 sheets of 3/4" kledgecell foam with a 1/4" marine ply sandwiched between. The glassed. Finshed and painted on bottom side with non-skid on top.

We used a large fishbox mold (slimmed way down) and glassed it upside down on the top of the top to mount radar, gps, anchor light, sat radio etc, etc.
