Zincs?

The survey of my B28 turned up only one badly degraded zinc disc on a trim tab. How many and where should I install them before dropping her back in? Collars on the shafts? On the trim tabs? What about the (original) rudders?

Do zincs protect the specific piece of metal they are attached to or work to protect exposed metals elsewhere on the boat? (Through hulls for example)
