I wonder the same thing. I rebuilt both of my raw water pumps last summer. Starboard cam wasn't cam shaped anymore. Let me tell you, there was a big increase in water volumn going through that engine when we rebuilt that pump.

Interesting though, no decrease in temperature. The thermostats did their jobs and the engines just push a lot more water with the cam shaped cams in them now!
