Shaft length

Getting ready to order a new shaft and wanted to solicit opinions before ordering. I'm ordering a new aquamet 22 1.375" shaft with standard prop taper and keyed at both ends. I measured both shafts and the good one is 82 7/16" while the one I'm replacing is 82 3/16" (quarter inch difference). Should I just order the same length as the good one or order to the exact length as the old one? Can't see that a quarter of an inch would make much difference. Thanks in advance for your advice.
