insulated fishboxes and flourecent flood lights

Couple of things...first - want to share something with the faithful.
I have indeck fishboxes...but they are not insulated - great for storing "stuff" and carrying frozen bait to the fishing grouds...lousy for bringing fish home. I found that the ice melted so fast that i'd wind up with a tub full of luke warm water by the time o got back to the dock. My boxes are pretty much square. I started using those fish bags from Canyon Products - which worked great - i'd put the fish in the bag with the ice - then drop the bag into the fishbox to get it off the deck....but because the bag is basically flat but the fishbox was...well, a box, i could only get 2-3 tuna in the bag and still get the zipper closed. So i contacted canyon products to see if they could custom make an insulated fish "box" ...no good way to do that...BUT we came up with an idea of creating 4 panels...one for the bottom and sides, one for the front, one for the back and one for the top. They'll get held in place with twist gromets...pulling them and cleaning will be a snap. ...total cost - about 112.00. I'm sending my final measurments tomorrow - will let you know how it comes out...
Also...i have a standard 500W halogen deck floodlight and does a great job - buts its looking pretty beat and i thought of replacing it. The current light is a typical outdoor flood like you can find at Home Depot for 15 bucks...so i went there this weekend and found flourencent flod lights that consume 65watts - but claim to create the same amount of light as the 500w halogen. Of course they didn't have one hooked up to compare. The light itself was made of clean looking, strong white plastic with a big clear lense that screwed on with a nice rubber o-ring to seal the inside - i guess you can use plastic and rubber since its not going to get scorching hot like a halogen. Anyway - was great looking and draws way less juice - which concieveablly would allow me to install a 2nd or even 3rd light. The price tag wan't bad either...39.00 each. Replacement bulbs were 20 something i think. (I use a small honda 2000w gen to run these lights so i'm always looking for a way to save juice and add light (to draw more squid/bait)). I'm just leary of the claim that you can really get 500watts of light from a 65 watt bulb...anyone ever see these things - or try them? Would the ballast inside the light interfere with any of my electronics? I was thinking of just buying one to hook up at home to compare.
Spring is a comin...
