Thanks for the response. I forgot to mention in my previous post that I have had the Algae X units in my boat for 3 years -- boughtem from Jim Bailey! Between them and the Stanadyne diesel fuel conditioner you'd think my Volvos were not really green -- as in very little smoke!

I started buying the Stanadyne with my neighbor at the dock, he has a 41 Viking with 671TIB Detroits. We chipped in and bought a 5 gallon pail of the stuff and then pump it into quart and half gallon bottles to make it more managable. Helps to keep the cost of the product a little lower as we don't have to get so many small packages of it.

Thanks for the comments, it made me feel good that I am babying my engines the right way!
