Tom,
Stanadyne's product is what I use the most and is recommended by my injection pump repair guy who see's these things every day.
It is a good product and will extend the working life of injectors and pumps with clean fuel.

Marvel mystery oil is a good product also.
It has been used as an oil and fuel additive.
Caution needs to be used when using as to not over dose on the application which will cause smoking when applied to fuel and thinning of the oil when added to the crankcase.

Never pour down the throat of the air intake on any engine to break up carbon.
The same goes for ATF.

There are alot of additives on the shelves of the parts stores.
Most are garbage and can harm an engine.

There are no quick fixes for badly sludged engines, worn bearings or worn and broken piston rings.

I prefer to limit the use of additives except Stanadyne's product and instead believe in a good maintenance program to keep the problems from happening.
