Greg,

I have a '72 B35 & just did my older crusaders (350hp), go about $400 or so in elbows, spacers, bolt kit, and gaskets. I believe most if not all crusaders had freshwater cooled manifolds, so you'll only need the elbow and maybe the spacer. If you have the spacer, check the block off plate, whin I was cleaning mine I found a hair line crack.

At first I used my local shop for the elbows $120ea. Then after cleaning the spacers I found they needed to be replaced again. This time I checked ebasicpower.com and got them for $50 ea(I think). Anyway, they had the elbows for about $89 each. shipping was free with my oder over 200 & got the stuff in a couple of days.

Not a hard job, but better done on land than in the water. I did my other motor last year in the water and had to tie up the exhaust hose so water didn't run in.
