Fixin' to take my 95 year old Pop out to eat raw oysters. Got me thinking about an oyster recipe'.
Let's shuck about 2 doz. oysters on the half shell, leave them in the shell. Melt a stick of real butter and add some chopped garlic, a few drops of hot sauce, and some sherry wine
Then grate up some real Parmesan cheese and some real Motzarella cheese and mix it in a bowl and add some real bacon bits.
Fire up your grill to hot, and put the half shell oysters on (shell down for you seafood challenged), then spoon some of the butter/garlic/sherry on them, then put some of the two cheeses on top and cook them for about 5 minutes or until the oysters curl and/or the cheese bubbles.
It's Momma-slapping good.
