Seastops work well, as previously mentioned. Due to the angle of the 31 stern as it sits in the water, on my 62, it is nessasary to put a slight wedge [1/4"] in the lower half of the stop frame so that as the boat rises and falls the water closes the stop instead of lifting it up and allowing water to come in.
