Garmin Electronics/Sounder

In searching for electronics for our B31, I have come across a good deal on Garmin bundled products. I know many of the faithful (Uncle Vic, Jim Bailey, etc.) speak very highly of the Garmin chartplotters but I was interested in some input about their depth sounders. I was thinking about the 3010C with the GSD 20 "black box" module. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
